White Company girls nightdresses - sizing

can anyone comment on how they come up size wise please? DD is just 7 and I would say fairly average for her age. Will the size 7-8 swamp her I wonder like the Boden one did?

They are quite generous.
DD has an age 3-4 one and she is almost six. I think I bought it when she was 3 so it's about 3 year old. It has got shorter, obviously, but otherwise it fits. Excellent quality and has been washed loads, but still looks good and a firm favourite.
