Could I get away with men's trousers?

I've been trying to find a pair of relaxed fit cotton cargo/combat trousers. The Boden ones seem to fit the bill, but they are out of stock in my size (16). I'm very hippy curvy with a tummy and chunky of thigh. Would the men's version do the job? And what size?

Men's trousers tend to be straight up and down with now room for hips so I doubt it tbh.

Unlikely I'm afraid.

A bit of a gamble, as mens trews tend to have less curve in the seat and more in the front for obvious reasons Smile
The only way to wear mens trews is to have a bigger size with a belt, but you kinda need to be stick thin for that.

Ah well. Will keep looking.
