In search of the perfect t shirt - help!

Just that, really.

I'm desperately looking for longline t shirts or tunic tops with either short or long sleeves that finish at the lower hip or longer.

I'm 5' 8" with a longish body and I find so often that t shirts finish just below the waist - very unflattering when I have a mum tum to cover up. Dd is only 12 weeks old and I'm still in that post pregnancy slump where I'm too small for maternity but normal clothes are very unflattering.

Help me! :)

River Island currently have some gorgeous long line t-shirts and they're only a tenner.

That was quick! Shall have a look. Thank you sugarice.

Sweaty Betty mantra tank tops - they are so comfy and a nice long length. Quite pricey at £20.00 but I've never found any better.

I have the Brora soft floppy t-shirt in every colour going. I am same height as you and they are nice and long on me.

Brora

luvvie and 101 - am liking your suggestions!

Never thought of looking at yoga wear for tops. Good tip.

And brora has some nice stuff (but may need to save some pennies first!)

Now, need a flattering pair of high-ish rise jeans so I can tuck my tummy in . Any thoughts??

I too am looking for some great longer tops/t-shirts. I used to get them from Dorothy Perkins but not so keen on the colours/necklines this year. I prefer v neck and plain ts and just can't find any I like.

Have you looked at Long Tall Sally?

Kind of answering my own question here ...

Lovely long t shirts on Isabella Oliver website. Pricey at £49 but someone has just posted a code elsewhere on this forum for 50% off.

Lived in and loved their maternity wear. May have to invest ....

Sorry, cross post karen. We have a long tall sally shop here. Another one I hadn't thought of!
