What to wear with tapered trousers?

So I normally wear wide legs, boot cuts or flares.

On a whim I've brought a pair of black tapered trousers. They fit quite nicely stop at ankle length.

What do I wear on top? I'm fairly busty with a bit of a muffin top/mum tum thing and a 14 just.

To add I thought I'd wear a low wedge black sandals with them.

skimmy tunic? maybe?

I'm wondering the same - just got a pair of stone coloured ones! Prob more chino-like than yours but same shape. Fitted shorter top looks the best on me but I'm more of a pear shape. Might try them with a longer close fitting tunic and a short denim jacket too - think that might work. If I'm totally honest with myself, I don't think they suit me as much as boot cuts or even skinnies but it's lovely to wear something a bit different.

mrsL I do have a tunic type thing will give it ago.

I think they would work with something cropped too but that doesn't quite work for my shape.

dingdong I am trying to test out some different things too. I've dropped a dress size and am trying to work out what suits but hope to be another size down quite soon.
