According to my neice (14) I am 'too ancient' to wear Superga. I'm 45 not 95 but I will bow to S & B opinion and send my lovely new ultramarine classics back so that I don't look like a nob. So am I too ancient then?

Stuff that. I'm 41 and adore my Superga. My daughter hated them when I got them but now she doesn't even comment. I love them so much I'm very tempted to buy another pair...only if I can find some as fab as my silver ones though :)

They are classics - in a good, not boring, way. Can be worn at any age at all.

I have just ordered a pair this morning after DD13 yesterday said they looked OK when I tried them on when out shopping - I am 46!!

I tried some, plus some from River Island. Kept the RI ones as the Supergas weren't quite the right shape on me. I'm 48.

I've got a couple of pairs - and I'm 46 Couldn't care less. I got a few pairs because I wanted canvas plimsoles and the Boden ones I had were too skinny and Superga fitted my fat feet. Hahah the guys serving me in Office must have thought I was out spending my pension.

How ridiculous. Superga is the sneaker of choice for chic middle-aged ladies. Tell your niece that she's too young to wear them!

Absolutely not! Someone told my sister she was told old to wear converse at 30 the other day! Wtf?! Just ignore them all I say .
