Can you recomend an alternative to converse?

My pair have converse have split...and want to try to something different. Going on holiday soon and would like something with a thicker sole ... Any ideas - supergra?

Superga are great - v comfy (I am a bit wider of foot and they are massively more comfy than converse for me).

I also have a pair of Simple trainers. Got them in TK Maxx but also v comfy. They are a bit less in your face than converse, no obvious labels on them.

PF Flyers. Definitely a win for the thicker sole
