Yes if you are size 10 or 12. Not if you are 14 or 16, unless you are very toned

Omg. Seriously? Of course you can wear them. I know gorgeous women in their fifties who still get away with wearing them. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. :)

I also think bigger women can look fab in skinnies when worn with the right things. It's all about the confidence. :)

I love beige skinnies - for me, it's not so much the size or age as the firmness of the bottom. Mine are in the wardrobe for not too much longer I hope!

You can -- I'm not the biggest fan of the beige skinnies can make you look naked from far away which is not a good look.

If you are dipping into skinnies for the first time I recommend a dark wash even though its about to be summer -- way more flattering for most people.

I agree with mirmuppet, that naked from a distance thing is off putting.

I agree that any age can wear skinnies, but its more to do with leg shape than weight. I have a very overweight friend who has leg like drainpipes and looks great in them. My size 6 SIL has chunky legs with massive calves who looks much nicer in straight jeans then skinnies.

Skinnies are more of a shape than age thing IMO. If you tend to chunky legs I wouldn't no matter how young, but I do think a woman with good legs can wear them no problem at any age.

I am naturally chunky of leg so can't wear them unless I'm at my lowest weight. My leggy 59 yr old mother looks fantastic on them at a size 14, but wears a baggy top to cover the tummy area.

Why not go out wearing a top / shoes you think would go and see what they're like on? Take a friend / partner for a second opinion?
