Can I dye the white/cream pipeing on a black jacket shocking pink?

Title says it all really,the jacket is 50% cotton 50% polyester and I don't mind if the lining changes colour.

DD going to a pink and black party...

Best dye to use,colour match and top tips would be really helpful

If it's just the piping I'd suggest you use fabric paint rather than dye, and just paint it on. Maybe mask with masking tape the important bits you don't want affected (just like decorating!).

Or fabric pens - even less mess? I've done this on a logo on a sweatshirt and it came out really well.
I Bought the pens from a craft shop.

Yes, fabric pens would be perfect.

You could try a dylon machine dye but I can't remember how well it takes on polycotton and the chances are the piping has a higher synthetic content than the jacket its self. A lot of fuss when a fabric pen would definitely do it.

There's a dye called iDye Poly that works on polycotton. But I don't know if it comes in the colour you want. I'm sure Google will assist!
