How strong is the 'elastic' inside Links sweetie bracelets (worried)?

My lovely DH has bought me this today, but I'm worried that the elastic might snap with repeated use..?!

(Silly I know but it looks simply to be a clear elastic type cord thingy inside the bracelet - bit flimsy - and I worry about such things!)

Does anyone else have one and if so can you reassure me (or otherwise)...?

TIA

I have one.The elastic is very sturdy, dont worry.I wear mine every day and so far no mishaps...

It's pretty strong, don't worry. I've had mine years and it's fine. Obviously you'd have to be careful not to catch it on anything, but that goes for any jewellery really :)

I have had mine for a long time and have worn it lots. Links recommend the elastic is renewed annually, costs £10. I have had mine restrung recently for the first time.
