Argh!! Dress not turned up. Event tomorrow.

I am going to a very glam event tomorrow - the dress code is cocktail dresses / lounge suits for men. I ordered a LBD online and stipulated delivery today. Instead they tried to deliver yesterday it turns out and I didn't get the card until last night. Today they didn't attempt redelivery.

In the event it doesn't get to me in time tomorrow is a long dress acceptable for a cocktail dress code?

Not sure about long dresses but Oasis do a 90 minute delivery if you're really stuck. You can always send the other dress back once it eventually arrives.

Warehouse also do same day delivery.

Cocktail means short, sorry. You will be over dressed in full length, however, over dressed is probably better than under dressed on most occasions.

Coast do super quick delivery too, 90 mins IIRC.

...and yes, you're right, long isn't right for cocktail code.

90 minute delivery only available in some areas - where do you live? Could you get to any shops or is it definitely an online job?
