Need some ideas for blouses/tops that can be worn to work or outside work

My budget has taken a big hit lately so I'm on a desperate look out for tops that I can wear on any occasion - preferably smartish in neutral colours.

Any ideas?

Yes I need help with this too.

Where is a good shop to find bargainous items of this kind?

There are a couple of nice ones in wallis at the mo - i just got one with tiny tigers on it. It sounds a bit bet lynch but its really nice and i wear to work in the dull financialsector.

would send you the link but on my phone and not that great with technology!

Lovely ones in tk maxx at the moment. I got a lovely flowery Clements ribiero one for £16 and a light Turquoise with flamingos one, can't remember the designer, for about the same.

Oh I like the Wallis top - might check that out in the shops tomorrow.

I think the Clements Ribiero top is sold out online in my size :(

Found this but not sure it would be suitable for my workplace - nice with jeans though

Primark has some lovely blouses in at the moment, I bought a lovely swallow print one that I can wear with jeans or with work trousers. There was also a ginkgo print one that I would have bought if they had had it in my size.

Ah, this is the thread for me. I too want blouses that look formal for work (teacher) but good with jeans outside of work too. I got a burgundy one with gold aliums one a little while back in Dorothy Perkins, it sounds truly vile but it's gorgeous and I've worn it to so many different occasions, including work.

H&M are great for cheap blouses.

I get ones from Yumi that wear to work and out of work, but this would only work if you like prints and I realise is twee for some
eg Foxes
skyline
Butterflies
Penguins (I think that one's Henry Holland)
