Where to buy something amazing for 8 mo DD

We are going to the wedding in June of a friend who works at Vogue (agh!). 'twill be in London and quite trendy with lots of fashion types plus trendy Hoxton designer types. Not even contemplated the trauma of what I can wear, but wondering where I can get something cute and unusual for DD. fed up of Mamas & Papas, John Lewis etc. Been looking on Half Pint Chic but seen nothing yet.

Have a look at zulily, achica etc, they sometimes have lovely different stuff.

Try your nearest NCT sale (in a posh area) if poss - I always find them a great source of really striking "best" outfits for babies and toddlers.

IME all white is impossible to beat, but, this and this are lovely.

Myself I'd go for something like this with white tights and a short, white cardigan if needed. If it's tights weather she'd need soft 'shoes' otherwise bare feet, silver or white with a wee bit of soft colour would be perfect.

Don't make her outfit the center of attention and fit yours round it or you're likely to end up looking like a prize prat
