Hi, can anyone recommend an easy but good hair dye, e.g from Boots? Have been going to the hairdresser for years for highlights but now seems too expensive and i don't really like the colour! Thanks

I use L'Oreal (because I'm weurth it!) Casting Creme Gloss. It's a semi-permanent - it's supposed to last 28 washes - and doesn't contain ammonia so it's a bit more gentle. I've found it gives good grey coverage if that's an issue. I think it's easy to apply, but I know some people prefer foams whereas Casting's a liquid.
