Saw this advertised on TV and read good reviews on Amazon.

Bought the last one on the shelf from my local Boots (always a good sign , I thought, if it's selling well).

The packaging also persuaded me. To quote........ "removes the roughest of skin in seconds"

WHAT AN UTTER PACK OF LIES !

Absolutely pants ! If you apply any pressure to the roller to get it to engage with the rough skin on the foot, it prevents the roller from rotating resulting in no buffing away of any skin whatsoever.

All it is capable of is lightly skimming the surface of the foot skin resulting in a teeny tiny bit of skin surface smoothing. This also takes a long time, not "seconds".

I'm mightily pissed off that I can't find the receipt to return it as not fit for purpose and as I didn't buy it from Amazon I can't leave a blisteringly accurate warning for other horny hoofed desperados with summer approaching.

I fear I will be buying a B&Q detail sander instead !

Hi I've had a micro pedicure for a few years now and find it brilliant. I've Bought the extra course sander inserts to make it work even better. I reckon it takes about 10 mins a foot so persevere with it, it does work!

*ZOMBIE ZOMBIE ZOMBIE

If they've persevered for the last four years I fear their feet may have fallen off.

Anyone who believed the beautiful skin in seconds must be very gullible. It's called advertising and they lie. The machine works fine. If it was any more vigorous then a lot of people would be cutting themselves open and filing lawsuits. Use it carefully and the hard skin comes off. I had plenty and it's going down nicely. The replacement heads are a bit dear though.

I know it's a zombie thread but LOL at the B&Q sander. Grin

You're not supposed to press just hold it against the surface

A cheap Newtons chiropidy sponge is just the ticket. I've just got rid of ds verucca with it. Buffed it every few days and it died. It worked on mine too.
Be careful though they are very effective.

Bought the Nails Inc battery operated foot roller/file. Has actually made problem more (erm), problematic ie, new skin tougher & harder & appears more frequently.
