What's good for a 9mo to wear on holiday?

I need to buy DS some clothes for our holiday. It's a city holiday, so lots of being carted about in a buggy.

I'm considering just getting loads of romper suits, does that sound ok?

TIA

What country? Could be a snow suit or a sunsuit!

Oops, sorry Blush

We're going to Tuscany. It's in a few weeks, and if the weather continues as it is, it'll be hot during the day, but a bit cloudy, so heading quite chilly at night.

I can't do links from phone but next do rompers which are good for day time.

Short dungarees - possibly my favourite item of clothing on a boy!

MrsChemist · 06/05/2012 21:13

Oh, I do love dungarees on little boys. I'll see if I can find some cotton ones that aren't pale blue.

Dd had several pairs of cropped cotton trousers last spring/summer when she was about that age. Great for crawlers as thy protect knees while still being cooler than full length trousers. Most places seem to have them for boys at the mo, but nowhere has decent girls' ones, just weird hotpants!

I bought 10 month old DS romper suits (which he has yet to wear due to the weather) and am planning on taking them on holiday.

I have hand knitted cardigans to go with them as cover ups.

There were lots of day time romper suits in T K Maxx yesterday in the £6/£8 range. I was looking for my nephew and was spoilt for choice with lots of decent makes

When my son was around this age and it was warm we had short rompers, some days then jersey shorts with a t-shirt and then for the cooler evenings jersey pants and a t-shirt with a cardigan or something.

Thank you, those are great :)

I always had DS in rompers or else a nice vest (some of the fun coloured ones rather than plain white) with soft jersey shorts
