I like that silk top a lot - but the neck looks rather high.

thestringcheesemassacre · 05/05/2012 18:44

I love the disco top. Those culottes (?) are minging.
I'm currently watching a pretty lace number on ebay for wedding.
I think if you've got a bit of boob, phase eight is cut quite well.

thestringcheesemassacre · 05/05/2012 18:46

Also quite like this

pretty

TheDowager · 05/05/2012 18:57

Wasn't there a 20% off code floating about??

ggirl · 05/05/2012 19:06

this looked quite nice on the mannequin in the window today

but looks crap here

GeorginaWorsley · 05/05/2012 20:09

Iam loving loads in Phase Eight, and have done for a few seasons now.
Have deff moved slightly away from 'mother of the bride' look and got more edgy.

Wallace · 05/05/2012 20:16

I went shopping with ds to buy a dress recently. I usually hate doing this cos it takes all day and we both end up grumpy.

First thing we walked past Phase Eight, saw this dress in the window. Went in tried it on. Perfect.

It is so flattering and fits so well.

Wallace · 05/05/2012 20:51

dh! Though ds3 was there too.

GoldenGreen · 05/05/2012 21:17

Good Housekeeping is giving away a gift card for £20 off Phase Eight if you spend £80. I'm not going to use mine, if anyone wants it? PM me for the code. It expires 18 June.

MrsBovary · 05/05/2012 21:36

I bought a couple of dresses and some shoes last week, the first things I've bought from them in years!

I like the floral blouse you linked to.

lumbago · 06/05/2012 07:51

Neck on
Bkack
Top is high but it works. And at least one size if not two down

I love P8. Their cut is always so good, like Monsoon used to be back in the day.

That butterfly dress is luffly.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/05/2012 11:50

So many of the dresses are polyester though - and bloomin' expensive polyester!

I might go and investigate the top.

southeastastra · 06/05/2012 11:52

way to expensive for what it is imo!

MadameChinLegs · 06/05/2012 11:53

I bought a stunning Phase Eight dress a few years back for a wedding I was attending and got lots of compliments, however when I talked about Phase Eight got lots of "but that's an old ladies shop" (im 27). I love it, and glad it's now getting the good compliments it deserves.

I have turned into a bit of a Phase Eight swot though, and when watching This Morning can pick out which ones are Phase Eight Blush

I have very little expendable income, so £100 on a dress, no matter the quality, is a push for me. However, this is on my shopping list (and am watching for it going in the sale) as I have three wedding next year and will quite happily wear it to all three.

southeastastra · 06/05/2012 11:53

isn't it aimed at women who are 55+?

MadameChinLegs · 06/05/2012 11:54

It might well be, but I think some of their stock is flattering for most people tbh.

lumbago · 06/05/2012 11:59

thats the point i think
its moving on from MoB type fasicnator shit.
Or we are all getting older ;)

there is sifting to be done though obv.
i wore the black chinesey top last night and felt good
