Accessories for a blue dress?

I have finally made a decision and ordered a dress for a Summer Ball and am struggling to decide on a colour for shoes and jewellery. Would a mustard yellow be too clashing or fashionably contrasting, perhaps a gold? What about nail colour?

I'm a regular lurker and know that you will have some far superior fashion ideas than me.

I'd maybe go for nude shoes and a bright clutch with nails to match the pink or red on the bag. Minimal jewellery, diamond or gold stud earrings, simple gold bangles etc

I love the colour of that clutch but not so keen on the design. I already have nude shoes so that's a bonus. I may be able to hunt some gold bangles out form the back of a drawer too so that look might be cobbled together without too much trouble.
