Yep - bootcut, absolutely brilliant, really comfortable, look good (or so I'm told!) and IMHO, worth it .... although I procrastinated for a long long time before getting them and in the end DH bought them for my b-day HTH

Socci .... sorry, have only just seen your question. I really think you'd need to go to a shop and try them on - I'm pretty much a 10 in the high street although wear an 8 in Sandwich, my Sevens are a 26" waist which is, I think, an 8. However, the girl in the shop got me to buy them tighter than I would have chosen ... but she was right as the next size up was way too baggy around the groin (and I guess it shows that I've been buying my Gap jeans a size too big recently ... which is why they're saggy around my butt!)

Hope this is of some help.

Good fit - especially if you have no bum and hips. Definitely buy the size smaller in the stretch bootcut - I am an 8 and bought a 25 waist (a 6) as they are stretchy and go bigger after 1st wear.

Gorgeous :)
PS If you want some, I'm heading to the US in two weeks will be going to the 7 shop, they're way way cheaper to bring back!!!

fab. am a 12 and got 29 inch stretch bootcut and 30 inch non-stretch (100% cotton).

Would they look good on those of us who do have a bum and hips....and are, dare I say it, pear shaped?

Piffle - where are their shops in the USA? I'm currently in the States, so could take a look if there's a shop anywhere around...

Yes the boot cut suit a curvy figure (friend has some) because balance your top half with wider leg - not really sure who suits skinny cut but very lucky if they do ! The stretch bootcut has a lot of give so ok if gain/loose a bit of weight. Very expensive but seem to suit all.

Yes I have a pair of the bootcut jeans and they are fab!! No problem if you have a bigger bum and hips, as I do and they make you look smaller! Very flattering, one of the best pairs I've tried (and believe me I've tried loads...)
