Dying jeans - boring dark blue or questionable coloured

I have bought some Levi's bold curve jeans. They are a perfect fit, and were a huge bargain, because they are an unflattering shade of very pale blue, and are so short I can only wear them with the flattest of flats (ie in summer).

So, some dye is in order. Do I go for basic dark denim blue, or coloured - I have Dylon French Lavender, which I think would be fun for summer.

What do you reckon?

Go Lavender, I have a pair of lilac jeans which are a nice alternative to White for summer and more forgiving to toddler grub.

I'd second lavender. if you don't like how they come out you can always dye then again, darker, if you want.

Excellent thinking Cheeser. Lavender is overdyable.

It's not my first time Wink

if the stitching is polyester and doesn't take the dye and stays light blue it won't look too bad against lavender...if you go darker, the stitching would stand out..(looks at dark plum chinos with bright blue stitching from my latest dye job) .I like Dylon's French Lavender, dyed some stuff myself with it...very nice.
