what do you need to know>? I'm sure the geniuses of mn could enlighten you!

Tbh. I wouldn't pay a hairdresser to learn how to blowdry my hair, I just watched and copied what they did.

I watched him, I tried to re-create it at home but it's just refusing to flick out.

He used a bristle Ibiza brush, he curled it under, then out, then sort of layed it so the ends pointed backwards.

When he finished it it was all bendy. My attempts have made it frizzy and bent at the ends.

I never learnt this stuff as a teenager, I had a mom who didnt do her hair.

Can you post a pic of your hair as it is at the moment so that we have a picture to work from and then we'll figure out the best/easiest way to style it?

Your hairdresser does this all day every day.
Just practise - that's all.
Come back in 2 weeks and tell us how good you've got Smile

If you want your hair to flick out you dry it with your brush, then straight away wrap your the ends of your hot hair around the brush flicking out and hold it as it cools ( a few seconds) let go and it is flicked out.

A friend of mine told me that her hairdresser said that it is impossible to hold the hairdryer the way they do when drying your hair to get to get really smooth shiny hair.
