Best hair dye for colouring grey

Ive been using home dyes for yrs but last year all the box dyes were making my hair darker and darker. So I went to the hairdressers three weeks ago and they stripped it and added a lovely dark blonde colour. However now my roots are through already. At seventy pound I can't keep going to the hairdressers so I've done belle colour on my roots yesterday. However it hasn't really covered my grey and I still have a visible line between regrowth and coloured hair but now my roots are highlighted grey now just grey.
Btw I think I'm 60% grey.
Can anyone recommend a home dye that covers grey really well.
Thanks

Perfect 10 is the only home hair dye that covers my greys...BUT...I am Asian and have dark brown (almost black) hair. So not sure how the lighter colours are with covering greys.

Sorry...that wasn't helpful at all Confused

Get highlights rather than a block colour. It might mean you don't need the hairdressers so often. Or, perhaps those home dyes with the wands where you can put the highlights in. I haven't tried them but IMO you need stripes to cover grey. Grey is difficult to colour, sadly (says the owner of a Cruella De Vil stripe :( )

I've always found belle colour to be crap at covering the grey. I find anything by Loreal is good, with Loreal Preference being the best. It's the only one I use now, and I've tried them all over the years.
