Tell me where you get your hair cut and coloured.
I have decided never to return to bloody Edward Scissorhands who does not listen to me.

Money no object.

I live in Kingston. I have a MN haircut. Fab!

lololizzy · 01/05/2012 00:32

bras should indeed be top priorities! even when skint always brought my bras from Bentalls I need decent scaffolding!

Mrsrobertduvall · 01/05/2012 11:24

Ok I went into Metropolis today to have a patch test and am about to make an appointment for next week.

London isn't really convenient for hair....i need to go every6 weeks and would find it hard to schedule it in.

Agree with bras...I am wearing new bras from R and P for my 32Gs and what a difference.
I keep seeing them in my peripheral vision....

And thanks for all suggestions...glad it's not just me who struggles with hair.

Glad to come across another R and P fan.

Think you'll like the atmosphere in Metropolis, hope you are pleased with cut and colour - let us know if you have time. I would like to be more positive about hairdressers round here (though am pretty sure Richmond itself is a dead loss in that respect).

Mrsrobertduvall · 08/05/2012 16:47

I have just returned, and am very pleased with cut and colour. Can't believe how much weight she took out.
The original stylist I was booked in with was ill (panic) but got a stylist 2 levels down, but she was excellent.
And cheaper Grin

Lovely salon, nice ambiance and not ridiculously expensive.
I will definitely return.

Interesting. I was going to suggest Peter at Code The Salon in Tolworth, like someone else above. Ill have a look for Metropolis.

FootballFriendSays · 08/05/2012 19:37

Oh yes. Another one here not impressed with John Carne in Wimbledon, though it was v many years ago.

FamiliesShareGerms · 08/05/2012 19:40

I find I get to know someone and they understand my hair and how I wear it, then they up and move.... Currently with Brittany in Toni & Guy in Centre Court, and she's good (until she moves!)

FootballFriendSays · 08/05/2012 19:46

A meet-up with all us disappointed wen would be amusing.

FootballFriendSays · 08/05/2012 19:46

Women

Mrsrobertduvall · 09/05/2012 12:18

Well I'm always drinking coffee in the Village Smile

polyhymnia · 09/05/2012 12:49

Are you - which cafe do you favour?

Glad you liked Metropolis - I used to enjoy going there (used to see Robert and a nice female colourist) and it's good to know they're still going strong.

Mrsrobertduvall · 09/05/2012 15:05

I like Saint Cassien.
Have been known to partake of the bilberry pie in Pauls.

OP posts:
FootballFriendSays · 09/05/2012 21:41

I don't know those. Are they new?

polyhymnia · 09/05/2012 22:48

St Cassien has been there ages . I like it too. Don't know about Paul - they are a chain and have also been around a long time but don't know how long theyve had a Wimbledon branch. Their tarts are certainly tempting - I like their apricot.

Mrsrobertduvall · 10/05/2012 12:47

How funny that we may have passed each other in RL?

OP posts:
FootballFriendSays · 10/05/2012 19:56

Oh, I think I know St Cassiens. On the corner opposite the former Chinese restaurant?

MrTumblesCrackWhore · 10/05/2012 20:00

Vanity in Merton Abbey Mills - the lady who runs it used to work at Aveda/Gina Conway.

MrTumblesCrackWhore · 10/05/2012 20:11

Ooh, also..Jennifer (Australian with massively impressive tats...TATS) at Toni and Guy I rate...but I tend to go to Vanity as it's much much cheaper and, on average, as good
