Can I use these Kurt Keiger Snow Boots as wellies/walking boots?

these are in the sale and tempted to get them to replace wellies/hiking boots etc.

Is that practical? btw - am not a rambler - probably would only go ''off road'' walking a couple of times a year?

Any ideas or should I re-post in 'The Great Outdoors'?

Thanks

Ooohh Bit of a bargain aren't they! I think the only concern is their waterproof ness ? Maybe you could treat it with nikwax spray as bottom bit looks quite good, it's just the cloth upper. They look very comfy tho, might be tempted myself.

BTW I just ordered muck boots as thoroughly pissed off with wet feet, only for dog walking, but well recommended on here, hunter Wellies got completely trashed by everyone. £ 59 delivered .

They look nice -- but as noted above may not be waterproof.

hmm - I'm still undecided - I reckon you could waterproof the top bits. I'm never going to be knee high deep in water.

I currently have steel toe capped welly boots which are good but heavy, a pair of cheap pleather biker boots which I use in the snow/wet weather as they have a good grip and have a warm lining - also as they're cheap I'm not bothered if they get ruined...
