I have ingrown hair issues so am bikini line challenged! And to add to the challenge I have a narrow frame (size 10) with generous norks - 30E and a longish body.

I have ordered some from Seafolly but none look very generous around the boob area - holiday in 4 weeks!!!

I have tried Figleaves & Bravissimo but nothing suits.

Please help!

Have you thought about a bikini top and board shorts?

BettyBathroom · 29/04/2012 09:12

Yes I have tried separates but my skin around the middle has seen better days and I've had to resign from the separates. Tankinis are never long enough or don't have enough room for big norks. But after I have exhausted all the swimsuit options - shorts and bikini may be my only hope.

not shorts but this has some coverage
www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product=Panache-Page-halter-swimsuit&product_id=PA-SW0670&size=30E&colour=Blues

or if you don't want a bikini, how about a tankini, those all come in your size and have at least some kind of a short available. MIght not be as long as you want though

this has shorts, but too sporty?

Try the Speedo website. The tankinis are worth a look too.

HazleNutt · 29/04/2012 09:18

crossposted - those tankinis are all available in cup sizes though, so room should not be an issue.

bishboschone · 29/04/2012 09:22

Ok how about a structured swim suit and board shorts?

Whitershadeofpale · 29/04/2012 09:28

Try what Katie did, they mainly do corsetry and shapewear but they do have some vintage style swimwear.

BettyBathroom · 29/04/2012 09:31

Thanks but nope none of those. No to sporty, I want something I love.

I have swim shorts and a tankini from Lands End - they are a bit big for me now (have gone down a dress size since I bought them) but they have things I hate about them - the shorts look horrible (think drowned rat looking) when wet and the tankini rides up when I swim, as does the other tankini I bought which was eyewateringly expensive.

Whitershadeofpale that's exactly the kind of thing I'm after - 50's glamour! Will order some and hope they can contain my expanding bosom!

Seafolly. Seafolly!

I have exactly such a costume. Well made, beautiful cut, indestructible.

Pagwatch · 29/04/2012 09:44

here. I have this in black

BettyBathroom · 29/04/2012 09:52

Pag I have that one on order (among others) - will get it on Thursday - is it good for big knockers? Grin

Fed up spending lots of money of swimwear that is never quite right.

Grin the goddess range is all well upholstered for big norks. I am norkless and it actually creates ones I don't have. When I went to try it on the assistant was a bit Hmm as I didn't realise that the range was for women who actually have breasts - which does not include me. But it works surprisingly well.

I love this costume. It is so flattering. I had women on holiday a few weeks ago asking me where I got it. Hope you like it or that you find something suitable

ThatGhastlyWoman · 29/04/2012 09:58

I saw something similar to this in M&S, but IMHO it was nicer, just navy or black and very 'vintage' looking. For some reason can't see it on the website, though...

messydrawers · 29/04/2012 11:04

Try www.forluna.co.uk/. Lovely suits and great customer service. I have big boobs and they have great support.

BettyBathroom · 29/04/2012 12:08

Messydrawers they look fab!

I'm sure to find something that fits me now. Thank you so much everyone! ThanksSmile

Just a quick update - the mass order from Seafolly arrived, I think I may end up going for this one

sophia seafolly

Amazingly it ticks all the boxes, except for the price - which I'll just have to swallow, I'm really, really pleased - it looks very cool. The cups have removal pads but you get a better shape with them in there, even if you are of the well norked variety of lady.Grin

Thanks again, body confidence when you're half naked is a rare thing!

Gorgeous swimsuit!

bishboschone · 01/05/2012 20:42

Ok I get it now .. That is lovely and being an hourglass I think I may buy one myself !!

TheDetective · 01/05/2012 20:51

I got this one Asda! £12, absolute bargain. I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and its pretty stretchy, flattering and supportive! I'm size 16, with 38DD boobs (at the minute!)
