Apparently these are suppossed to be better for your hair especially coloured hair. Ive tried the Everpure Colour Care and Moisture and its horrible. My hair felt flat and greasy less than 24 hrs after washing it. I also bought the Colour Care and Volume (on offer so i got both) which i havent tried yet.
Bit disappinted as this is the same company who makes Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo which is lovely, thats why i thought the Everpure would be nice. I have long dark thick hair so maybe the Everpure would suit fine hair better.

I have fine hair and used the shampoo for coloured hair and thought it was really good. My hair felt thicker and didn't need such frequent washing.

i got sent the green bottle one and agree its horrible, i have a short bob. I've been using it on my 2yr old she has quite long hair and her hair likes it, may just be because its conditioned, before i was just using johnsons baby shampoo. I might give it another try, i want to like it....

valiumredhead · 27/04/2012 17:12

I saw these on offer in Tescos yesterday, so glad I didn't bother!

My hair has never been worse than when I tried to go sulphate and silicone free!

carernotasaint · 27/04/2012 18:09

Like you miche i really wanted to like it but my hair just doesnt feel clean with it and feels heavy flat and greasy like it hasnt been washed at all. I will stick with their original and best which is Elvive. I hope to God they dont discontinue it and replace it with this sulphate free crap. If they do i will defect to another brand.

Really? I was going to post about ever sleek to say how amazing it is. I have only used it once today but my dry, thick coarse hair looks amazing. Better than it has in ages!

I will wait to see if it lasts, I hope so.

Bellebelle · 27/04/2012 21:19

I really like the EverPure shampoo and conditioner I use (can't remember exactly what it's called but in the pink/purple packaging). It makes my hair super soft.

carernotasaint · 30/04/2012 22:12

I tried the Colour Care and Volume one over the weekend (the one with the purple lid )and thats not as bad. Its a bit better than the Colour Care and Moisture one which was terrible but im still not sure id buy this again.

I have thie colour care atm and yes you're right it's pretty crap really. Makes my hair all cloggy and lifeless

I was sent this to test for Boots and I raved about them! They really worked for my hair (fine, greasy) even though they sent me colour care jobbies. I LOVED how rich they felt and the smell was divine.

ggirl · 01/05/2012 21:32

You were sent to test for boots Shock and how did you get to be so privileged?!
Will give the shampoo another go as it could also be the new mousse I am using but I am dubious tbh

kaumana · 01/05/2012 22:40

I was about to buy this but after reading reviews here and elsewhere I'm glad I didn't.

Pinot · 02/05/2012 09:12

ooh sorry ggirl I missed this thread on my TIP. How rude

Well, it turns out I talk alot (or rather type alot) about beauty gubbins so I was pounding Boots.com with reviews and then they emailed me and asked if I'd do it proper like. So every month they send me freebies (I KNOW!!) and I review and post it online. Sometimes big things (electric toothbrush £180) sometimes tiny (toothpaste £3) and things like Visionnaire before launch (I KNOW!!).

Tis v cool Blush I'm v lucky!

if you PM me I'll give you the secret email address and you can always try to get added yourself Wink

miche8 · 02/05/2012 14:06

pinot - i review for boots too, i got an email from them ages ago asking if i would like to review, i thought it may have been because i had wrote several reviews on the website. The best thing i've had was an armarni aftershave for dh, i've only wrote a couple of reviews because most of the things i get sent i don't use (waxing kits, false nails, face masks) so pass on to family/friends. I don't like changing my products. I would love to be sent an electric toothbrush, toothpaste and i use vionnaire. We obviously don't get sent the same items, i got the shampoo/conditioner last time and the time before that was a bust firming serum.

Pinot · 02/05/2012 14:08

ooh bust firming! Now that I could use

miche8 · 02/05/2012 14:15

pinot - if you want to pm me your address i'll send it on, its called talika, i won't get round to using it and will need to have a clear out before we move house next month.

Pinot · 02/05/2012 14:25

Thank you! :) You are v kind
