Love the style of All Saints but am always a bit Hmm about their price range, tbh. Does anyone know of any brands who do similar styles?

Watching with interest!

I get it off ebay, but you have to look for badly listed stuff or it still goes for £££

I got a couple of James Lakeland cardies that were similar in style.

Fillybuster · 27/04/2012 12:14

Me too. Fell in love with a dress there last week, but it was £140 and they have a no returns/credit note only policy, which put me off completely. Will check ebay...

ujjayi · 27/04/2012 14:37

I did look on ebay but, as you say CrunchyFrog it still appears to be almost full price. How do you define "badly listed"? am prepared to do some serious searching if it leads to a lovely bargain!

Try Fat Fingers which searches for typos on eBay listings. Sometimes works, sometimes not!

CrunchyFrog · 27/04/2012 16:15

I got a pirate cardigan for less than a tenner - it was listed as "grey cardigan!" but I saw the label in the picture. It was also listed without size, so was a bit of a risk, but it's lovely. Grin

LabelLab in house of Fraser. Basically all saints rip off- all saints used to occupy the same space in house of Fraser in bath until it got bumped for this brand. Hth

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/04/2012 17:53

Just came on to say Label Lab! It's a bit too teenage for me nowadays but v v similar to All Saints. Tbh though I'd rather wait for Vivienne Westwood sales and buy her stuff - you can get skirts for around ninety pounds in the sale, which is about the same price as All Saints.

lololizzy · 27/04/2012 18:36

ha am bidding myself for some 'badly listeds' right now!

lololizzy · 27/04/2012 18:37

but I will still share
try different combos
eg al saint's allsaints all saint's all siants, that kind of thing

lololizzy · 27/04/2012 18:41

I was discussing this with DP yesterday. How to get All Saints look (which I love, and suits me, incidentally) Hmm for a Primark price. I manage a charity shop..he suggested...take clothes from rag bag (ie ones that aren't good enough to sell) rip, slash, etc, do cardis up the wrong way, then dye them the colour of mixed up paint colours water (why is nearly every garment in AS the colour of the paint pot at my primary school after everyone had dipped their brushes in!?) And maybe draw an owl or skull or two, and throw a few beads in. And rip a few holes, as literally everything of theirs I own develops this tiny little holes...

I think I have just the place for you. Fantasic clothes like All saints but 1/3 of the price. I've bought a few pieces and they're great.

There's quite a bit of All Saints in TK Maxx at the moment, at least in London... :)

twirlyagogo · 07/08/2012 15:02

I got a dress from Peacocks last year that was almost exactly the same as one in AS - £25 as opposed to about £160. Was grey, zip at back, sleeveless, tight on top, all floaty and up-and-downy to the knees. Think they've gone bust now but maybe look that up on eBay? In fact, I might still have mine somewhere as it didn't work with my frontage but would have been lovely with leggings and biker boots. Can see if it's still around if anyone's keen.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/08/2012 19:51

I get mine off eBay, I got a £80 jumper for £20 and a £65 scarf fir £17.

I tried the jumper on at Xmas so I knew it was a bargain.

Tk maxx also good and also the sale and archive on the website.

Thanks for all replies.

Since I first posted this thread here a new boutique has opened in our village which sells All Saints-esque clothing - mostly silk or silk-mix - for a more than reasonable price :). I bought two layered and hitched dresses for 30 quid each. I can't remember the brand off the top of my head but they are made in Italy.
