Need a nice dress for informal bridesmaids

As per the title really :)

Something summery, not maxi length in pinks/ dusky pink/ greens or possibly antique gold.

Preferably not a shift dress but something with a fuller skirt.

Anyone seen anything recently?

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 19:24

omydarlin · 25/04/2012 20:41

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 20:41

Thanks :)

Would never have thought of oasis.

I love the phase eight one but I think it's too busy a pattern.

That flouncy thing I linked too is shocking Hmm

Maybe best not to look at dresses while I've a fever!

omydarlin · 25/04/2012 20:45

How old are the Bridesmaids - some of those I wouldn't wear sorry mrslettuce i'd consider them to show off my fat baggy ole thighs too short .

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 20:48

Lots to look through thanks :)

OP posts:
MrsLettuce · 25/04/2012 20:51

better

strapless

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 20:51

I like some of them but they are maybe too formal.

It's a small garden wedding.

There will be three small flower girls - I'm trying to find a link to the dress they are wearing.

And the bridesmaids are early 20 and 29+1 ahem and norther are slim and twig like especially not me

I love this!

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 21:00

Oh mrslettuce I love the kallo one. Very pretty.

OP posts:
omydarlin · 25/04/2012 21:02

Kaliko one would be perfect!!

MrsLettuce · 25/04/2012 21:03

Having seen the flowergirl dresses, I'd say it's pretty near perfect. They are hard to work with. Lovely though.

Kaliko dress leaves 40 pounds per bridesmaid for spanx Wink

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 21:04

Yes. That is what I meant stupid phone!

I do love the style. Wondering if there is something similar in a deeper pink though?

OP posts:
CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 21:05

They are hard! Got in the sale and are very lovely though.

It's not hugely important that they all match. It very informal but it would look better for the photos.

shopalot · 25/04/2012 21:05

Have you seen the twist and wrap dresses in bhs? There s a 25% off at the moment as well so they are about £70. here

omydarlin · 25/04/2012 21:10

But you could always have a corsage to tie in the darker dusky plummy pink colour in?? Around the waist or wrist?

MrsLettuce · 25/04/2012 21:12

yy, corsage to match the other pinks in the flower girl dresses. It's similar to their lightest pink, would you say?

omydarlin · 25/04/2012 21:19

corsaging example

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 25/04/2012 21:21

That's a good idea yes.

I do like it. I'll have a look for a corsage to match then.

It does seem similar to the pink yes.
