Has anyone tried the Benefit they're real mascara?

I've got it - it's ok but not worth the money IMO. Brush is too big so I often end up with smudges. Far prefer my L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes - half the price and twice as good.

Oh thanks spark I do think it's quite alot of money for a mascara, but would buy if it does the job.

I agree with Sparkle - it smudges a lot for me (but most mascara's smudge on me...

I bought it in a moment of madness at a Benefit counter and I really like it (not twice as much as my Bourjois Fast and Volume though) .It doesn't smudge on me and I'm Smudgy McSmudge from Smudgersville.

Then I must be Lord Smudgy McSmudge from Smudgersville!

There's something I never thought I'd say type

I think it's 'cos my eyelashes are naturally curly and they hit the top of my eye socket. And my skin is oily anyway which doesn't help.

I love it, my best one yet. I've long but straight lashes and it curls them nicely I think.

ooooh I hate it with a passion. It's one of the worst I've ever used. It is the most smudgy, panda eyed monstrosity . Even just on my top lashes it moved (slid?) down and gave me pandas. And it dried out really quick which is ok as I didn't want to use it anyway. But what a waste of money when I could've got a decent one ie Clinique's Lash Power

I put some on one day and went out with DP . He took a photo of me literally half hour later. In the photo I've not just got 'dark circles' from it but full on black smears like I've been painted under my eyes. And I wasn't even using moisturiser/ eye cream. It all drifted down.

So it's not just me!

OP - buy something else and tell us if we should buy it too

I tried their Badgal Blue mascara once, after seeing it raved about. What a rip off, brush like a toilet brush and the mascara was so weedy, you had to put about ten coats on before it showed. It did absolutely nothing to make my eyes bluer, as claimed; the best one for that was YSL Falsh lash effect in burgundy. I think Benefit is very overrated.

I think I might save My money and have a look around. lolo oh dear.

I don't think I'd buy it again ( don't talk to me about Bad Gal - the disappointment of that purchase lives with me still ) - there are plenty of good mascaras for half that price.

I too bought it, based on a friends recommendation of how fab it is but I was totally underwhelmed by it.

There is a free sample of this in next months Glamour magazine out on the 31st. Might be worth purchasing it to try it

I am using it at the moment. It isn't worth the money. I am just using it up so that I can try something else. Will not buy again.

I love it! I'm on my second one and wouldn't buy anything else.
