Wanted! Everyday, mid-rise, straight leg jeans ..... where??

So I've just taken delivery of a pair of Gap Real Straight jeans and am not that fussed. They'd do but they're not fantastic - although they've increased the elasticine since I last bought a pair so they're quite comfortable.

Where else can I look for straight, mid/high rise jeans to wear every day? I would be very tempted by a 'good' pair, read designer, but would then feel obliged to change my jeans every time I put my wellies on so I'm going to be strong-willed and steer clear (unless Brand Alley have a jeans sale in the next few days!). Top Shop seem to get good reviews but only seem to do skinnies? Unless the Leigh or Kirsten aren't too skinny? Fat Face look awful on their website. What about Mint Velvet, Jigsaw, gosh where else?

Recommendations much appreciated so I can order some to try on. Budget .... eh, say up to £80.

Thanks

Wait for a BrandAlley/Cocosa sale - they often have great brands like Paige and Goldsign. Well worth the investment. Or if you wanted to spend a leetle bit more you could try on a load of brands in a dept store and then order from Shopbop.com for roughly half the price...

Oh yeah, agree re. Uniqlo, fab for the price (and I am a premium denim junkie)

I live in my Primark straight leg jeans (£10).

I love my Tu @ Sainsburys dark denim, straight legs. Come in 3 lengths and cost around £15 iirc.

I'm dieting at the mo so I don't want to spend too much as I am replacing my clothes every couple of months...

Dorothy Perkins. They are marketed as skinny, but they aren't really. They fit nicely on the waist so eliminate muffin top!

They are often on sale as well. The only thing I would say is the black ones don't wash very well. They faded fairly quickly.

These ones. They're on offer too!

I got a fab pair from H&M recently - dark demin, really comfortable with a bit of stretch. I went back to get another pair and couldn't find any more though Sad

I find it really difficult to find straight leg jeans. Annoying as IMO they're the most flattering style for the short and curvy.

Thanks everyone - will check out your suggestions. Have got a couple of pairs of Sevens from Brand Alley in the past and they've been great buys. Hope they have a sale soon!!
