I like this a lot for me holidays.
But I'd rather not pay £90 for it.
Has anyone seen anything similar ish. Must have sleeves

How about <a class="break-all" href="http://www.vanmildert.com/womens-2/dresses-skirts-212/dresses-99/vila-womens-tess-light-240528.htm?source=webgains&siteid=www.vanmildert.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this or this

PerryCombover · 23/04/2012 17:05

Am sure I have just seen something in New Look but can't find it on the website. It was maxi length and grey 'knitted' and am sure it had sleeves. Will keep looking for it on website [hmmm]

Labootin · 23/04/2012 17:41

That is possibly the least "holiday" beach dress thing I have ever seen.

Can only assume you are holidaying in a Slavik potato field

( with apologies to any elderly Eastern Europeans)

winefairy · 23/04/2012 17:52

Here. I know, I know, I've saved you a whole £12. No need to thank me. It also comes in plain black for £10 less although it doesn't really say "Holiday" to me. Grin

I've seen them in the flesh and they are really nice. In the flesh? Should that be in the material.

Labootin · 23/04/2012 17:57

that black one is like a fat Nigella beach dress

[soz]

winefairy · 23/04/2012 18:09

That's what I thought, Labootin. It has a whiff of beach-burka about it.

PerryCombover · 23/04/2012 18:19

Good lord ladies...it's for the beach to beach bar
Normally wear v dull while shirt sometimes with a little belt, sometimes without

I liked this, is it really awful?

OP posts:
PerryCombover · 23/04/2012 18:21

Wine fairy like the first one and every penny counts whilst we're all in this together

OP posts:
winefairy · 23/04/2012 18:29

No, Perry. I really liked your original choice....and mine, of course. Grin

Just not feeling it in black.

And you are making me envious with all your talk of beach to bar. I am imagining you frittering the £12 I just saved you on cocktails.

carrielou2007 · 23/04/2012 18:38

I'll be wearing my H and M 1.99 dresses as beach dresses, not great for cocktails though Grin

EnjoyResponsibly · 23/04/2012 19:07

H&m had similar last week for

MrsLettuce · 23/04/2012 19:33

It's awful. It'd make you look, erm, a bit neurotic and stand out like a sore thumb too. Sorry.

How about some sort of kaftany or tunic type affair?

leopard, rather Margo Leadbetter but potentially fab

white lace tunic

Hell knows.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/04/2012 19:48

Noooo - it's horrid. And you'll be boiling in it, surely?

I'm thinking of going down the over-sized white shirt with tan leather belt look this year - saw it in a pic and it looked lovely but suspect I'll look awful in it.

Topshop used to do lovely little cotton mini dresses that were just like long vest but not too clingy. Sadly, they don't seem to have them any more. Shame, as I've lost mine (and I'd stolen it from dd1 anyway).

PerryCombover · 23/04/2012 19:51

I have nowt to hide I just was thinking something different this year
That kaftan must be left over from helloween

Christ! they are expensive Shock

OllieinOrange · 23/04/2012 21:01

Gap has a simple grey one with sleeves but not the drawstring waist feature. here

Follyfoot · 23/04/2012 21:03

It reminds me of a grey fleece nightie I once had. When I was very poorly (she adds quickly).
