I've only used mine once. Fecking disaster. I'll give it another go at some point.

TiredTits · 21/04/2012 23:27

Do you need to have long hair? I'm growing ine out atm and I'm also enhancing my curly mad look.

I can tuck it behind my ears.... Is it for me?

The last time I clicked on a thread like this I ended up buying a lakeland steam mop!

neverbugle · 21/04/2012 23:27

Really, what happened?

I watched some youtube tutorials before giving it a go and it was fine. My hair isn't very long yet though. Just a bob at the moment.

It's super isn't it? Almost as good as having hair professionally blown dry.

Time-consuming for me, though. Longer hair.

neverbugle · 21/04/2012 23:31

My hair is a chin length bob but i'm growing it. I think the babyliss big hair will help my hair look good when it's a bit longer, at first I appeared to have given my self a michelle obama bouffant, but it's settled down a bit. feels nicer than when it's just straightened too.

So it is for straightening hair then?

Will it work on my mad marge curly not so stylish hair?

neverbugle · 21/04/2012 23:39

i don't know, i'm quite clueless about any other hair other than my thick wavy stuff. look it up on you tube to see what i'm talking about.

I've got shoulder length curly hair and I hoped it would help me re-create the swishy bouncy blow dry my hairdresser gives me but instead I had very thick straight hair that wasn't in the slightest bit swishy. I'll check out some YouTube tutorials before trying again.

Nagoo · 21/04/2012 23:42

I have a short straight bob and get incredible swish.

gypsyfloss · 22/04/2012 00:14

I am very tempted by one of these. I'm quite cack handed though so it could be a disaster.

Henwelly · 22/04/2012 11:14

I love mine - I think its amazing. I have lots & lots of fine hair, looks thick but isnt!!

LolaAnn · 22/04/2012 11:20

Is this the spinning brush thing? Is it really easier than blowdrying normally with a big fat round brush? I have v long hair and can see this thing ending in mega tangle bird nest.

ajandjjmum · 22/04/2012 11:23

I found it useless - always amazed at the number of threads on here about this one product!!!!

MrsBovary · 22/04/2012 11:41

I make sure my (long) hair is practically dry first. I tried using as it recommends, I think, from damp, but it seems to create frizz with my hair.

I just divide my hair into sections using clips and it works wonderfully, but it does take approx half an hour, so I can't devote the time to this daily.

I know you can buy round (and metal barrel) brushes, and I suppose you could produce similar effect, but I feel is easier with BBH.
