Hush catalogue - what's the quality like nowadays?

The Hush catalogue just plopped through my letterbox and, despite bad past experiences, I have been sucked in...it all looks ge-orgeous (perhaps entirely due to honey-skinned elfin model with flowing beachy tresses lounging in tropical gardens?). I last ordered from them 3 or 4 yrs ago and everything went straight back as the quality was so poor - stiff, cheap, cardboardy pyjamas and thin, crumpled knitwear. Have they sorted out their quality issues? Would love feedback from anyone who has bought from them recently.

DH bought me a Hush hoodie for Christmas. For £40, I would have expected much better quality. The fabric was quite thin and it hasn't washed well and went quite bobbly quickly.

I'm afraid my hush purchases (only a Henley top and some lounge trousers) haven't washed at all well either, and instantly looked tired and worn.

I agree though - the current catalogue is ever so seductive!

I bought two pairs of pyjamas in the sale. At sale prices they're fine, but nothing special tbh. I don't think I'd bother again.

I ordered a lambswool cardigan from them in december and i have to say the quality is excellent, i have washed it many times and it still looks as good as new. For the price and compared to other brands such as brora which sells similar knitwear i have been very impressed. However i think it depends what you order and what that item is made from. The cardigan is 100% lambswool, so is good quality so is likely to survive.

I have a couple of dresses - the striped byron, and the bird print maxi - and I thought the quality was pretty good for the price. The bird print maxi is particularly lovely. Really soft fabric and very flattering. Maxis normally make me look pregnant!

Thank you so much for feedback everyone. TheBean ? the striped Byron is one of the items I had my eye on. Good summer holiday dress, I thought. Might have to give it a go. Also tempted by the harem pants...the Isabella Oliver ones look good too....watch this space!!

I actually bought the Byron last year and it has been worn and washed a gazillion times, nice quality jersey, was my summer staple and will be again this year!

I bought some pyjamas as Christmas - washed lovely and a sweater dress which has also kept it's shape, not bobbled and washed well too.

Hmm..

I was quite tempted to buy the £50 blazer
