Non-wired bras made of cotton- where to find them?

I am quite fussy about bras and don't like them to be made of synthetic fabric if possible - at least lined with 100% cotton in the cups if nothing else. Since pregnancy four years ago I've also been unable to wear underwired bras, they are just so uncomfortable and my boobs look weird in them anyway. But it's mainly the comfort thing.

Can people recommend their favourite bras/places to buy bras that are non-wired, please? And ideally made with cotton? Fanks! :) I've only tended to look in M&S and BHS as I'm out in the sticks, so anything else would probably have to be online. It's so hard to find nice non-wired bras these days... Don't mind if they are white as I might dye them Grin

These are all cotton with no underwire (not tried them myself).

Thanks so much, both of you! :)

Just to warn you , IME some bras without wire are even more uncomfotable than the wired ones , just in a different way- slippy , itchy etc - but the ones in M & Co budget clothes shop look more substantial , & I think the evil Primark do flimsy ones too . Llike your name by the way , fellow Fall fan I wonder[grin}

Thanks! yeah, after reading the other bra thread I'm lurking on, I'm wondering if I'd be better off with a very well fitting comfy underwired one, I think I am wearing the wrong size so will measure up later and try loads in the shops til I find one I like.
My name is just what I say to my son when I'm lifting him up from the highchair or we are crossing a road briskly and I want him to get a fecking move on be a bit brisker. What is Fall? Grin

Has anyone used the bra doctor?

Merivel · 19/04/2012 19:34

I haven't used it , valium .

GrinGrin That's a far better origin for your name ! Fall = ancient band based around vocalist fond of adding "hep hep" to the lyrics

Not easy to find comfy bras & have seen awful reviews of the pull-on bra from the US that's supposed to suit everyone's shape < helpful > so I experiment with secondhand ones - I like the idea of dyeing them < inspired >

I got some fab plain white non-underwire ones here in Matalan. I bought them for pregnancy but have been wearing them ever since. I'm only small of nork though 32D, they'd be rubbish for owt bigger sorry.

I found this one online, so I'm going to try it in store if poss and see. Had an... interesting.. half hour or so with DS (3.5) in M&S bra changing room while I tried on millions of different bras today. Grin

www.bonprix.co.uk - sorry, my links never seem to work. Really comfortable, the only bras I have where the straps don't fall off my shoulders and some great colours - I have a navy and a dark red one.
