I work in a jeans and teeshirt kind of environment, but I would quite like to dress up my teeshirts. In the past I've bought some nice ones from Gap with styling details that lift them slightly from the ordinary (drapey heavy jersey, pretty gathered cap sleeves, slightly gathered shaping etc) but right now I'm struggling to find something slightly more elegant than the average boring old tee...

I don't have masses to spend so no £65 silk teeshirts sadly.

I love Zara's for all the quirky prints but I guess they're not really elegant...I know what you mean though. My dress code similar. Always looking for the ones with the gathered puff / cap sleeves etc. Buttons on sleeves and necklines mind you that's easy to customise. Not my thing but Boden and Next often to that sort of thing.

Hmmm there are some nice ones in Zara, might have to go in to a shop for a closer inspection. I usually avoid Zara because their trousers are made for petite Spanish women, not strapping 5'11" English women, maybe their tops are different though.

ha I'm 5ft 9 and leggy, yes a lot of petite stuff. Admittedly most of the T-s are slim fit on me , however I have a few treasures that are oversized and I absolutely live in them.

Brora - I have the soft floppy t in every colour going, every year. Despite the description they are (fairly) fitted and wash beautifully and don't need ironing. Also nice length if you are tall. I would rather spend a little more to get something that lasts.

Try TU at Sainsbury's - they have loads in with interesting details as well as plain ones.
