Anyone fancy helping me spend money?

DP 'gifted' me some things to ebay and I had my first sale! I have £30 left and DP is determined that I should buy something nice for myself. I don't know what to get :(

I have had several comments from different people that my clothes are tired/old/held together by my botched sewing but I have no idea what £30 would buy that would be worth it. Don't need an occasion dress (I have one and we don't go out to weddings etc. a lot). Could maybe do with some jeans but my sensible hat is saying bulk-buy lots of t-shirts or something. I am also trying to tone up and lose a stone, so not sure now is the best time to be buying clothes? I won't buy Primark and I want to buy something that will last but I think that's difficult with £30.

There are no shoes that I 'need'. I don't know how to think of something that I want for £30 apart from 30 winning lottery tickets.

Can anyone help please? I am size 10/12 (trying to get back into a comfortable 10), pear shape (huge hips proportionately) and like colourful clothes but am pale with brown hair so don't suit all colours. I'm also fairly short with chunky legs (again, proportionate to my height/shape) so very short skirts are a no.

Actually, having had a bit of a think... I would like to get some trousers or jeans that I could wear out and about. What styles of trouser look good on short people with chunky legs please?

Sizing for my legs is so varied that I mostly wear leggings (size 10, they fit fine). I have four pairs of jeans from Next, all 10. One pair is baggy and really too big, one pair (boyfriend style, bought four years ago) fits nicely but the remaining two pairs don't fit at all. One of those is a new pair of boyfriend jeans - they give me the most hideous muffin top, are very tight and uncomfortable (really don't think they are 'boyfriend' style TBH but they were an non-returnable present). I really like the brightly coloured skinny jeans that I've seen others wear, including larger ladies and they looked nice, but would they be suitable?

I hate being uncomfortable and I hate low-rise jeans. I don't like showing my bum/back. High waist jeans can be so Mumsy though.

Any help gratefully received! :)

I have these H&M stretch skinny jeans in various colours, they're great with flats or boots.. buy 2 pairs... Navy & orange.. ;)

What is the sizing like on those H&M jeans? Are they very long?

Thanks madammecholet they were just what I had in mind! Going into the city tomorrow so can have a look then. Also going to TKMaxx today, just in case they have some too. I like the idea of orange as well.
