......I have bought a pair of jeans that I'm going to have to lose weight to comfortably wear . I can (just) fit into them (and they look pretty good on) but it takes some time and a lot of wriggling around. But they're brand new looking Replay jeans that I found in a charity shop for £6.29 and I couldn't resist!! I knew they were a good brand but didn't realise quite how expensive they were until I got home and googled them!!

haha - that's what the woman who bought them in the first place probably said. Mind you, one of my major and enduring mistakes with jeans is buying them 'comfortable' from the off. Wear them once and they give so much you spend all the time hoiking them up. I bet if you wear them round the house every day for a week they'll be comfy.

I'm wearing them sat on the sofa at the moment. Not too bad to sit it, but I creak when walking! I will persevere.....

I have a pair of jeans that I call my "gig jeans" - ie. I can wear them standing up at a gig but couldn't actually sit down in for more than 5 minutes without expiring. The lady in the shop told me they would stretch. They didn't!

I persevered for a couple of hours, back in my comfy trackie bottoms now! I think they stretched a wee bit though. There is hope yet!

For £6.29, who cares?

If you decide they really are unbearably tight, stick them on eBay.

Jeans do stretch, though. I always buy jeans that fit in store, then after an hour of wear they are hanging off me and I'm wishing I'd sized down. Do I ever learn??
