Right. Got myslef a job after 2 years SAHMing.

Scared sh*tless but that's another thread.

To deal with the scariness of it all, I need to plan my work wardrobe.

I have got several pairs of bootcut type trousers which still fit from pre baby days, either black, dark grey, and one pair brownish tweedy type.

I need ideas for tops / shirts & shoes.

One pair of shoes that will go with everything, and tops that go & are not to clingy / muffin revealing, and most important of all, don;t need ironing (tumble driable).

TIA

what job will it be?

I wear in winter:
smart trousers, plain, check or discrete stripes - wide ish leg.
with black boots, zips, knee length
jersey tops - Debenhams have a good few selection, I don't iron them.

summer:
linen wide leg trousers or very long leg covering skirt
cotton jersey top/linen shirt if I have time to iron
sandals

I work in a school.

Why not wait to see what other people wear. Just make do for the first week with what you have then go shopping...?

crisp plain white shirts always look good and very fash. but must be pristine.

wrap tops - kew have some nice ones to wear over camisoles

Hi Frayednot. Congrats on the job!

Trousers sound fine. I would go for some nice fitted v neck jumpers, you can wear them with a little vest underneath or a shirt to smarten it up. Or Some nice cardis with vests under. (I mean fitted ones not granny cable knit LOL)

Just checking in to see what's what.

Tits are medium sized. They went large but are deflating rapidly again post BF and diet.

MT The Boden top is lovely but a bit pricey for me atm, something similar M&Sish would be great.

I have to shop before I start Cece as once I've started I will have no time for shopping anymore. Working mornings and DS still sleeps in afternoon so not much opportunity. One of the reasons I am going back to work, to save money
