If you were an 18 year old girl, what brand of bag would you go for?

my lovely niece is turning 18 and I would like to buy her a nice bag. I'm a bit out of touch with what is 'in' for the 18 year old crowd. I don't mind spending a bit on her as she is my niece and is a cracking lass!

She's sporty, but also girly - not sure that that helps!

def the big one with the long handles then. You can even fit a small laptop in one of those

if you think she might like it, I think you can have initials put on, if you order from their website. You can also customise the colours there

My DD1 aged 20 has a Longchamp pilage, which she loves, they come with short and long handles, make sure that you get the long handles so that it can be worn on her shoulder. DD1 uses her bag for her laptop and notes at uni.
DD2 (16) is in school in France for the year and interestingly her bag of choice is a leather Juicy one which the French girls all love, I guess this is because it's different.

Thanks everyone. I went for the Longchamp Pliage in turquoise as it is her colour. She is thrilled, so we have a happy 18 year old and a 'cool' aunty!

I got my daughter a Ted baker handbag for Christmas and she loved it!
