shampoo and conditioner with no silicone (dimethicone) in?

Apparently my hair is coated in the stuff which is making it a bit more dye resistant! I've always used Pantene or Tresemme but would like to switch to something without the silicone in it. I have coloured hair..loads of it and I straighten it so need something that really does condition well. Any ideas??

Naked possibly?

ConstanceChatterley · 12/04/2012 18:49

If you like Tresemme, they do a Naturals range which is silicone free and really nice.

Most of the 'salon/ professional' stuff (which incidentally can be bought online for less than in a salon Wink ) - Kerastase, Davines etc - is without silicones afaik.

naked in boots, tresemme, inecto coconut (savers) and the dr organics range in holland and barrett and waitrose own brand

thought kerastase had cones but haven't checked recently

oh, mop stuff doesn't, and louise galvin also ( i think)

I use Naked's 'Bounce' shampoo (from boots), and then follow with the Tresemme naturals conditioner and they seem to work well together. Tried Naked conditioner but it didn't get on with my hair. Some health food shops/holland and barret have suitable products too, but check the label for silicones to be sure :)

try l'occitane, really good and nice fragrance.

I use rusk products, sensories wellness
I've discovered that my hair looks better after a bit of Pantene though and am using the rusk up on the squids

Aldi's version of pantene shampoo is silicone free, I havent bought the conditioner.
