I have no hair - help!

Posting as really, REALLY desperate for some help :(

I've had trichotillomania (complusive hair pulling) since I was 11 - I'm now 33 and have pretty much no hair. I wear a hair scarf most of the time but it's so depressing - I feel so old and sad and jealous that I can't wear anything nice because of the way I look.

Must admit I've kind of hidden behind the 'mummy' badge for the last few years - frumpy and boring. I'm now at the stage where I need to think about the future. Can anyone recommend anything to help? Wigs? etc?

I think I have it under control but unfortunately the damage seems to be permanent. I've thought about shaving it but that's VERY drastic. Also my DD is 5 and I don't want her to be embarrassed.

Any suggestions greatly received. Smile

Hi if you are in london there is a place that may be able to help. If you google lucinder ellery trichotillomania you can see what they suggest.

I have hairloss because of a medical condition and have a hair replacement system called a kc or kinsey connection. This is at mark glen in mayfair, they also have a website.

I am not sure which one would be best for you.

Hope this is of some help as I know just how distressing it is when you lose your hair.
