Would this be ok for a christening?

I'm going to a christening at the end of April.
Would this be suitable? And if so what should I wear with it?

Absolutely, it's perfect.

I'm rubbish with accessories so I'll let someone else come along and help with that!

Cute!

It's lovely. I would use shoes as your main accessory as the dress really speaks for itself. They would be a good way of introducing another colour. Are you planning on wearing tights or not? Need to read stories now but happy to help later....oh, and I would probably add a blazer if you want it a little edgy, rather than a pashmina or cardi.

Thanks, it's lovely isn't it! I have a cropped navy blazer so I'll wear that. I'm very pale skinned so may consider bare legs if I can get enough Dive Holiday Skin on there in time! But may have to resort to nudes.
I'd love some ideas on adding colour with shoes :)

I'm quite liking the red bag the model is wearing with it, so what about red shoes as well?

ObviouslyOblivious · 12/04/2012 11:22

Red would be quite a departure from my normal style! Has anyone seen any nice mid heel (can't cope with high) sandals or wedges in a red/coral/pink?

What kind of budget did you have in mind for shoes? As for colour, I think red/coral/bright pink - they would all work but I wouldn't suggest a matching bag - rather a blue one (as per the colour of the dress) or a nude one - or none at all if you can utilise someone else's pockets! Love the sound of the navy blazer.

Budget for shoes is minimal really! £60 max I think.
