What do I wear with this dress? Help, o wise ones!

Bought this from dotty p's in navy blue.

Despite the awful reviews it actually sits well on me-I'm 5'9" and a size 14. Bit clueless what to wear with it though. I never usually wear navy and since it's fairly plain I think it needs something to bling it up. What do you suggest? Thanks.

Scarf knotted at your neck? Huge necklace? Chunky bracelets? Colour pop cardi? I like it and think you can dress it up.

A wide, bright belt would be nice - orange and navy is a very popular colour combo this season, or a gold belt with gold wedges, or with a Breton top layered underneath, or with bright converse or ballet pumps, or with a statement necklace (Stella & Dot are great) or with one of the bright H&M blazers over it, with a trench coat plus scarf (kind of French style) a bolero style cardi (Monsoon has lots of colours). Great choice for a dress as the list is endless). I think I had better be quiet now!

Oh, or with a fitted denim shirt layered over it and a bright skinny belt over that or a chunky, as in wide but not wool, printed scarf, or some day time sequins in a scarf or knit. I think I too need one of these dresses. Who needs anything else?!
