Sandals for wide feet: Campers v Fly

Sorry for yet another comfy sandals thread. I have slightly wide feet, size 4. I only ever wear wedge/heel shoes as I am a curvy 5'3', they give me height and I maybe misguidedly think that a curvy/chunky shoe balances me. I mainly wear skirts/dresses, if that helps.

So which do you like better/ know to be more comfortable?
These Campers or
These Flys

Thankyou Smile

The Camper ones are lovely, I am not keen on the fly ones. Inhave wide feet and have worn Camper shoes in the past but I guess it's just a case of having to try them on and see what's comfy.

Thanks apple. I like the Campers alot but have never seen them before, and hoped someone could give me some fitting advice as I can't find any online reviews. Lots of girls on S&B say the Fly's are wide fit, so good to hear that maybe the Campers are too.

Hi, I'm a slightly wide footed size 4/5 too. I love the style of Campers but contrary to apple, have always found the Camper fit too narrow, I've tried on a number of pairs over the years- so a 4 is too narrow and 5 too long. would recommend having a look at Clarks perhaps....

have you tried ecco? they sell some spectacularly horrible shoes, but also the occasional nice sandal. i bought some last summer, wore them all summer and now my narrow-shoe-related corn has gone - result!

Dollydowser · 10/04/2012 17:39

HackneyCabbage I don't fit Clarks shoes. I have recently tried these in 4 and 4 1/2 and they were very uncomfortable. The same trouble last year when I fancied a pair of Clarks wedges too. Thanks for you input re Campers fit.

janek I was going to answer you with a don't be so ridiculous (thinking about the awful Ecco lace ups my mum wears) but thought I should take a quick look first. I quite like the look of these although they are slightly more dressy than the Camper ones.

The Campers are 25% off until the weekend, and free delivery, so may try order them anyway and report back.

The Campers arrived this morning! They were made for my feet, and look fab with the denim skirt I'm wearing. Just need to get my legs waxed Grin
