Can you guide me to an elegant fitted raincoat, preferably black?

I'd like to buy DW a nice raincoat, or at least one that's shower-proof.

She likes softer material, not stiff or waxy, and it should end just below what she says is a big bum, but isn't really.

Ideally it would go in at the waist, maybe belted.

Where should I look?

Some brilliant suggestions; thank you very much. Not sure about how waterproof some of them are; the North Face one looks the surest bet, I think.

It's waterproof ish! Can cope with Belfast weather with an umbrella! Wink

Can't do likns but merrel haven, very like the NF stella but bit cheaper, I have it in plum, black and the insulated one kept me toasty in last year's snow. Very very waterproof and v flattering, I wear the purple one most (as it is a M and the black a S and a bit snug) and am always getting compliments on it.
