Is that it? I just wash with conditioner, rinse, go about my life sans shampoo? Or does it need to be trained to cope with it?

I think it a certain type of conditioner or summat.

I accidently washed my hair with conditioner once as picked up the wrong bottle. My hair felt and looked horrible. Had to rewash it with shampoo.

if you google 'no poo method' you will find some websites telling you how to go about it. sorry that isn't meant to sound abrupt, i just can't remember all the 'rules' IYSWIM. Smile

On another thread someone was talking about just washing with conditioner, rather than this bicarb, vinegar, egg lark that the 'no poo' websites talk about. Can anyone tell me about this?

You just use the conditioner to sort of scrub at your scalp to clean it (gently), rather than use shampoo and the soapy chemicals.
As far as I remember the only rule I followed was the no sillicones in the conditioner.
You need a deep cleansing shampoo every week or so though, because conditioner builds up in the hair.
I'm not sure if there's anything else!
