what's in your make up bag day to day?

I find that my new foundation is great but rarely lasts for more than 3-4 hrs without a touch up.

This makes me wonder what I should carry eith me if out for a day.

So far, my bag contains lipsalve and lip stick, concealer and an old eye pencil. I also carry parcetamol, nail file, panty liner.

Do you put the full works into your bag if out for the day?

And Chanel lipstick in Boy.
If I want a more extensive emergency kit ( a hot date - hah !) then that lot are joined by an Avon Supershock gel eyeliner pencil, Mac moisture cover concealer and possibly a sample size mascara.

I have fairly oily skin so foundation has a hard time lasting on me also! For that reason I carry a wee makeup bag with:

Dior forever powder foundation compact for touch-ups (this stuff is amazing! Expensive, but last years since I only use it for touch ups at work and when I'm out and about)
A nars blusher (mata hari) since I'm a redhead that blusher is the number 1 make up item I would choose for my desert island.
A small blusher brush from a travel set
lipstick
a concealer
an eyebrow pencil
pain killers

Gets me through many occasions!

you could trawl ebay for travel size/samples of things to get a really small kit together? I just make sure that i chuck my little pouch into whatever bag I'm using for that day...

I take my make up bag with me day to day - and touch up at lunchtime usually.

I never have to reapply foundation, but touch up wish blusher/bronzer, eyebrow cream and under eye concealer to freshen up. And lipgloss.

Have you tried primer amelia? I use that and find it makes the foundation stay on all day.

Which do you use cyb? I still rate the Loreal Professionals one but haven't tried any others lately.

I also use a sunblock which also acts primer-y come to think of it.

I use primer. I use clinique city block which is a primer and sun block.

What is eyebrow cream?

I don't bother day to day but if I'm going out after work, I'll take a tiny pot of Bare Minerals foundation, a tiny pot of Benetint and a lipstick with me.

I just take lipstick out with me. Primer is where it's at though and you don't need to spend a fortune, but see if you can get samples.

I don't use them every day (too lazy) but my usual products for most days are:

Bourjois blusher (a peachy colour)

Getorf I use Mac primer spf50 which ticks ALL my boxes

Looks like everything but the kitchen sink when it's all written down but it fits in a fairly compact bag and has been a lifesaver a few times as I tend to be out of the house from 7-7 quite a bit.
