What to wear with these Boden skirts?

I just got Boden's colourful cord skirt in both the sea blue spot and the sand wood cut. I like the skirts, but I am a bit stuck what to wear with them. Any ideas? If you've got them, what do you wear yours with?

those look nice but the sand one is harder. I don't like what they have shown them with on the models.

With the blue one, i would wear a plain top probably white and then a grey or blue cardigan or a plain jumper in a coordinating colour.

with the sand skirt I may try and pick out the coral or the neutral colour in it.

I have the flippy cord skirt with the rick rack on it from this year and it was black but none of the colours on the rick rack seemed to go with my wardrobe. it can be quite tricky.

The blue one is definitely easier. Picking out the coral in the sand skirt is a good idea, thanks. I don't like what they have shown them with on the models either.

I know, I think that is why I end up buying so many plain things and in the same colours as it is so hard to match things up but then it is good to try something different and I think these will look good.

do you have some things already you could wear with the skirts?

I have some blue t-shirts (navy blue and a bright blue) that work with the navy skirt and I think taupe might go too because of the brown in the spots. I don't think I have anything that will go with the sand one, so unless I can find something I will end up sending it back. I guess that's the tricky thing about prints!
