Jigsaw and Kew- anyone else a bit fed up?

Jigsaw has become so expensive- many dresses almost £200 and Kew has lost the plot IMO- weird or frumpy.

Thanks Stringbean - I am a bit wary of eBaying as I like to see things - actually now I think about it especially Jigsaw and Kew as the clothes that look good on hangers don't on bodies and vice versa. That said, I have a few corkers from both, so I do keep an eye and will check e bay too. By the way that cardigan is fantastic. I ordered it and loved it but it didn't work with the outfit I needed it for and so I was strong and returned it. I couldn't justify it as a 'general' purchase even though I would have looked divine ... Go on, keep bidding, you won't regret it!

I second BerryBathroom. I bought a double layered racer back T shirt last year which did not last well. I work full time so would have work it occaisionally at weekends, so not that often....threw it out last week as it has bobbled.

It's put me off buying from Jigsaw. I don't mind paying more if the quality is good & I think it will last. If you loose confidence in the quality then how do they justify the price?

I was just looking at a jumper in Kew - it was described as a "cashmere mix" jumper. Looking at the details, its transpires that it is 47% nylon, 39% viscose, 10% wool and 4% cashere. To charge £65 for synthetic crap is a bit much, but to describe it as if it has a significant amount of cashmere in is a bloody cheek.

Pity as a few tweaks would work

1. Price
2. Fewer sacky dresses
3. Brighter colour
4. More going out clothing.

Styleguile says that Kew are closing
