Urgent! Bobbi Brown chocolate shimmer ink eyeliner - how do I apply it?

Just treated myself to this but I don't know how to apply it!! Dashed to the shops and bought a very fine brush - what next?

Dab the eyeliner onto the brush and gently draw a line along your upper lid. There are tutorials for gel liner on you tube!

I don't draw a line but dab. I tend to make a mess drawing a straight line. Dabbing gives me a better finish.

Thanks for that - but I can't get onto YouTube at the moment. Do I just dip the brush into the gel or do I have to wet it first? Ta
