gelish nails - are they good?

despite using nail envy, filing, oiling etc my nails are still flaking and peeling. am thinking of having gelish nail polish - but i had something similar last year and it just peeled off, so i am a bit wary of spending the money.

so would gelish work on peeling nails? and are the colours good? i tend to like neutrals - such as leighton denny supermodel or very darks - nails inc victoria, opi lincoln park after dark. are there any colours you would recommend ?

I have got the home kit version from Boots - I do every 3 weeks so has already paid for itself in salon visits.

I do find gel polish has made my nails stronger, although my problem was splitting/breaking rather than peeling

My fave neutrals are Mauve Maven & Taupe Tulips (greige), for dark I like Blue Yonder (deep creme navy) and Sugar plum (burgundy)
I got some when over in the US but they are selling in UK v soon, 1-2 weeks I think
